In SAP Business One (SAP B1), Available-to-Promise (ATP) is a feature that helps businesses provide accurate and reliable insights into stock commitment possibilities (for customers and internal production).

ATP is a critical aspect of order fulfilment and inventory management and allows businesses to determine if they have enough stock to fulfil customer orders and production materials based on current inventory levels, incoming goods, and existing commitments.

Frontline ATP takes the core functions of the normal ATP functionality within SAP Business One and adds:

Provides options to create a ‘buy’ transaction

Creates either individual POs or consolidated POs

Alter existing POs: Change date, change quantity, cancel

Frontline Available-to-Promise:

  • Validates everything which has been covered by Material Requirement Planning (MRP)
  • Traps cases where demand has reduced but the POs are still there
  • Updates several POs at once
